Components

bigOne_escThe equipment is designed to detect the characteristic parameters of the refrigeration circuit and to process them to obtain the performance values of each individual component; whether the circuit is a sample from the production or assembled within simulation cabinet.
Using collected data it will be possible:
– compare the performance of each component
– verify the interaction between all components
– compare the components with each other
– compare the efficiency of the circuit as a whole
The test equipment consists of two units: a main unit that contains the control and data acquisition electronic and a cabin for the simulation of the refrigerator compartment.

Main cabinet

The main cabinet contains the power supply, the management PC and the data acquisition system that is the heart of the equipment.
This main cabinet is designed to be placed outside the climate chamber in which the tests must be performed.
The Ethernet PC connection allows test bench management and fast access to all information also from a remote PC.

Rrefrigerator circuit simulator

bigOne_05The refrigerator circuit simulator is assembled to make as easy as possible the replacement of different components.
It consists of a cabin on wheels made of insulating material with appropriate internal separators that
allow to change the internal volume as needed, in order to perform the tests in conditions as similar
as possible to final customer products.
The cabinet should preferably be placed in a climatic chamber.

Equipment main uses

– For a samples test on production. The supplied sensors have to be placed on the sample
– For Research & Development test. In this case components and supplied sensors must be placed inside the simulator, using the provided quick connectors.
– For acceptance test on circuit components.

Available measurements

  • Measurement of the absorbed power of the compressor and all refrigerator electric consumptions
  • Measurement of gas temperature at the ends of each component
  • Measurement of gas pressures at the ends of each component
  • Measurement of the coolant flow

Main values performed by the test equipment

  • Calculation of the compressor COP
  • Calculation of the power exchanged by the condenser
  • Calculation of the compressor pressure drop
  • Calculation of the power exchanged by the evaporator
  • Calculation of the evaporator pressure drop
  • Calculation of the capillary pressure drop
  • Calculation the power dissipated inside the refrigerator (or simulator)

All collected data is stored and made available for the operator.
The software interface can be easily customized and can be implemented according to customer specific needs.
